Pure shapes rock. Gold is king (queen). Elemental and sunny.
Many of my new pieces are based around beads. I love beads. They seem the most ancient of jewelry forms.
I never think about making things in the way of words. I just make stuff connecting a million dots in my brain.
Lilypads meet Noguchi. Hinges meet exotic forms. Buoys meet plump little glass earrings I had as a kid. Pulaski bridge meets spires meets gold mesh turrets. Persian carpets meet sapphire chain mail.
I studied fine art and sculpture. I have a house in a tiny town in southern IItaly. I have a dog named Gobi named after the Gobi desert though I've never been.
I was born in NY. I always did something with my hands since I was tiny child.
I love simple things beautifully crafted made of exquisite materials.
