Trick or Treat this Saturday at Excelsior & Grand!

We at Max’s, along with some of our retail and restaurant neighbors here at Excelsior & Grand have planned a great “Fall Festival” for this Saturday, October 29, complete with something for everyone in the family – and that includes Fido! There will be horse-drawn hayrides, a photo booth, and a face painter, as well as some Halloween treats for the kids who want to go trick-or-treating at the stores. There will also be a puppy costume contest (thanks to Bubbly Paws) as well as a costume contest for your little goblins, hot cider (thank you Starbucks) and delicious food samples (thank you Gourmet Olive Oil & Vinegar – and at Max’s, you know that that means lots of chocolates. If you don’t have your pumpkin yet, you’ll be able to stop by the pumpkin patch (Trader Joe’s) in front of CVS to pick one up – it’s free with a non-perishable food or cash donation for Second Harvest Heartland. And, if you visit all of the participating stores and receive a stamp from them, you can enter to win one of several great prizes. To wind down after the day (or to revive yourself midday for more shopping!) visit McCoy’s. Kids under 12 years old wearing their Halloween costumes will receive a free kids meal! And for the adults, enjoy $5 pumpkin pie martinis during the event. It’s going to be a really great day and the festivities run between 1-5 on Saturday, October 29. Did I mention that we have chocolate samples…..????
